The K Farmer Dutjahn Foundation (KFDF) is proud to announce its partnership with the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) to enhance Aboriginal leadership in Western Australia's wild-harvest sandalwood sector. This collaboration is supported by the Future Drought Fund, which aims to bolster drought resilience and sustainable practices across Australia.

Our vision is a future where Traditional Custodians and nature can continue to thrive together on lands where sandalwood grows. Our goals are delivered through our Healthy Country and our Strong Communities strategies.

This month, the KFDF Western Desert Youth Ranger Program celebrated its second immersive camp on country, giving five young Martu Custodians an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills under the wing of three MY Rangers.

Challenges like inequality, climate change and biodiversity loss require a collaborative approach. Through supply chain partnerships, we’re connecting consumers to communities – creating shared value for generations to come.
